Just some awesome creativity I’ve stumbled across recently…

1. Don’t push the button. Ok push the button. & Don’t look. ¬†Oops. You looked and now you can’t look away… or why is advertising in Europe always just so cool//surprising your audience is a good way to capture and hold attention.

Don’t look away:

2. Twitter is an ad platform. No, not just a platform to send advertisements, but for a creative team from Argentina (BBDO Argentina), the Twitter interface is an ad opportunity. BBDO Argentina created an flip-book type ad for Smart Argentina that tells the story of a smart car crusin’ the town– visitors scroll through a Twitter timeline (holding down the j and k keys on their keyboard) to see the car drive through town. An entire storyboard metered out in 140 character posts. Brilliant!

(or to have more fun and scroll the ad yourself, visit their twitter page @smartARG)

3. Nothing is impossible with a little imagination. No iPad, computer, or TV needed. Just an idea, time, and dedication. Be inspired by a 9 year old boy who spent his summer vacation building an elaborate arcade- out of cardboard. A beautiful reminder to never lose hold of the imagination you had as a child!

P.S. You can donate to a scholarship fund for Caine to go to college- I did, and you should too! Caine’s Arcade
